As a homework tutor at After's Cool, I help high school students who have difficulty with certain subjects and/or study skills such as planning and studying. About 6 students are in a classroom where I give them the opportunity to ask questions and to work on their homework and study skills.

Together with a team of students at Wolfert Lyceum was I one of the founders of a company called MARBL. We founded this company for our school research project in the last year of our high school. We created our own products, bathbombs, and peformed all tasks other companies do, from making products to delivering products. One of my main tasks was searching and ordering the best value of raw materials for our products. Another one of my tasks was designing and updating our webshop. All our product were only available via our website and not via a third retailer. In 6 months time we made some good profit and we even won the 3rd prize for the best company in South-Holland via Jong Ondernemen.

At our school, one junior mentor was appointed for all first grades. This junior mentor helped guide the new students through their first school year. For this you had to write a motivation and conduct a job interview with some of the teachers. I was eventually selected as one of eight junior mentors. I have had conversations with first year students and I was a supervisor at first year camp. I have especially gained a lot of experience in guiding and presenting for groups.
