After nearly 14 years as Executive Director, I have transitioned to a Senior Technical Advisory role at the Stewardship Centre, I have over 25 years’ of experience managing conservation projects, including the well-known Green Shores program, which provides tools, training, and resources for rehabilitating natural shoreline ecosystem services.

DG Blair, M.Sc. PrincipalDG (Dorothy Grace) Blair has a B.Sc. degree in Biological Sciences and Environmental Studies, a Certificate in Environmental Communication and a M.Sc. in Environmental Education. DG has over twenty years of experience as an audience-centred facilitator and program designer on projects related to environmental issues, sustainability, and resilient communities. She facilitates - with passion, skill, and a sense of fun - workshops, meetings, and engagement processes for effective outcomes. With deep experience in science-based best management practices for land and water, she specializes in translating technical content for non-technical audiences.She works with a broad team of skilled fellow consultants who provide expertise and experience that will meet all project deliverables and more. Depending on the project objectives, key personal are engaged to create a team that best meets our client’s goals.

Reporting to the Stewardship Centre for BC's Board of Directors, I provided Project Management and carry out project deliverables, as required, for the following programs: o Green Shoreso Stewardship Practices for Wildlife and Species at Risko Strengthening Stewardship• Provide technical expertise for SCBC program/projects in the following areas: community engagement; educational program design, resources development; and program evaluation; workshop facilitation; Green Shores technical training • Develop funding and project partnership opportunities• Fundraise as part of SCBC;s finance and administrative team, including a fundraising strategy, developing applications, and preparing interim and final reports to agencies• Coordinate and participate in Board and Committee meetings• Communications and promotion of the Stewardship Centre• Coordinate SCBC”s governance requirements and operational duties with the Financial Manager.
