CurrentI am part of a developer innovations technical sales team that engage with Oracle's largest customers help design solutions to their business problems, and help customers migrate on-premise solutions to the Oracle Cloud Platform. Key activities include delivering code innovate events (focused team activity to build solutions to their use cases), cloud coach services, customer proof of concepts, hands on workshop delivery, and solution demonstrations. My domain expertise includes IaaS (compute, storage, networking, migrations), data management and data integration including batch and real time data migration and replication, and analytic and machine learning solutions. I have developed and delivered many hands on workshops for the Oracle Database (migration, Autonomous Database with machine learning, in-memory, python development), and real time data replication with GoldenGate. I also developed extensive technical sales collateral on Oracle's data management, data integration, and analytic cloud platforms, while working with open source technologies such as Git, Terraform, Packer, Docker, and Visual Studio Code. In 2020 I was in the top 10 of over 1200 engineers to first complete eight mandatory cloud certifications.Earlier (~10 years) I led a North America sales engineering technical team that supported POC and demo activities, and partnered with development to built Oracle's Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics POC and demonstration platform (VM). Prior to working in Solutions Engineering I was a Solution Specialist covering the US North East. Activities included customer facing presentations, demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts.Prior to 2000 I worked in Oracle Consulting as both an ERP functional and technical (interfaces, customizations) lead. I worked on the BC Government implementation of Oracle Financials for two years, and had numerous other assignments in ERP Applications and BI/DW, including a year building a financial data warehouse.
