I am currently working on an innovative project using the Rust programming language, focused on the aviation industry, specifically related to aircraft control, flight plans, etc. My role involves helping a client transition from an old service originally developed in other languages, to a new, modern system built with Rust, divided into multiple microservices. My key contributions include:- Library (Crate) Development: Designing and implementing a robust library that abstracts several communication protocols, such as HTTP, Kafka, Zenoh, Nats and others, into a unified API. This library facilitates seamless communication across various microservices.- Rust Expertise: Providing expertise and guidance on Rust programming, assisting the client's team with general Rust-related issues, best practices for creating microservices in Rust, and architectural decisions.- Microservice Architecture: Contributing to the overall architecture of the system, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and efficient communication between services.I also worked developing a cloud infrastructure software stack for the edge used by the most demanding applications in industrial IOT, telecom, video delivery and other ultra-low latency use cases. It provides a container-based infrastructure for edge implementations in scalable solutions. Worked mostly with Python and Go.

I worked as a backend software engineer, performing the architecture, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement of software. Below are some initiatives I worked on and the technologies used. - I participated in a new iFood initiative so that logistics can start sending any type of product and not just food. We created a new portal where companies across the country can register to deliver products using iFood logistics. I worked from the beginning until the release for use in several cities in the country.- Developed software using agile methodologies, specifically Kanban, and conducted regular code reviews.- I participated in the architecture and development of several microservices using the Rust language, using Hexagonal Architecture and Clean Architecture. We used Postgresql and Dynamodb databases, Liquibase for Migrations, Redis for caching and Kafka for messaging, aiming at long-term scalability.- Implemented the security and authentication part of this new portal, creating the microservice responsible for JWT tokens, integration with Aws Cognito and Aws Lambda, implementing lambdas in Go and Javascript.- All microservices run on Kubernetes clusters and we use tools such as New Relic, Logz, Kibana, Prometheus and Grafana.- I used technologies like Aws SQS in some asynchronous flows, Aws SNS for messages, Gitlab for CI/CD, Terraform for infra, Kong API Gateway for rate-limiting and JWT token validation, among others.- I also worked in the area responsible for scheduling all couriers in the country and the calculations to be paid for each courier. I worked on the development of microservices made in Kotlin and Java, creating new products such as a new franchise system and a fleet requisition system, improving logistics as a whole.- I worked by changing the entire scheduling flow to work asynchronously using Apache Kafka, making the system work without bottlenecks with a rate of more than 100k requests per minute at peak times.

I work developing hardware and software for the retro video game market. I design hardware and develop embedded software mainly using C/C++, Vhdl and Assembly.

- I worked for more than 13 years creating software solutions for internet-based applications, with extensive experience crafting high-performing software for embedded systems and web solutions in general.- I worked a lot with low-level programming in several projects involving network devices, working with several wireless and wired technologies, helping the company to become a national reference in network technologies.- Worked developing Linux network drivers, implementing and using various network protocols, performing all network configuration and scripting in many different use cases, with a focus on layers 1 to 4 of the OSI model.- I participated in the architecture and development of all the software of several projects from beginning to end, developing the embedded software of the devices and the backend applications when necessary, using different technologies. I also developed the frontend of several projects.- I worked with many languages such as C/C++, Python, Rust, Go, Javascript and several scripting languages.
