I am providing strategic advice and hands-on operational support across VHB's transportation business. In this role I work closely with the firm's leadership team to develop and implement regional and service line go-to-market strategies. This includes working closely with VHB's Client Focus Teams to develop new business and enhance VHB's suite of service offerings.

I provide advice and analyses to business owners, C-Suite executives and investors within the AEC space. Services include developing growth and overall business improvement strategies, assisting with M&A and providing market intelligence and forecasting.

Led AECOM's Design & Consulting Services (DCS) within the US East Region and Latin America. Responsible for growth, operational performance (including profit & loss) and client account management for all DCS business units including Transportation, Water Resources, Program & Construction Management, Environmental and Architectural & Building Engineering. AECOM's Americas East Region consists of approximately 8000 employees with annual gross revenue of over $2 billion (FY21/22). Prior to this, Mr. Faust led AECOM's US Southeast and US Mid-Atlantic Regions.• Profit & Loss Management – Averaged over 12% annual EBITA growth over a six year period (FY17-FY22) and 6.5% annual Revenue growth over a three-year period (FY17-FY19); during the pandemic years (FY20 & FY21), exceeded targets for EBITA and new bookings, and increased contracted backlog by over 2%.• M&A – Led due diligence and strategy development for potential acquisition and mass hire targets across the East region (FY21 & FY22); successfully executed the mass hiring of a new Technology Solutions Group (TSG) in FY19; created the structure and operational framework to integrate a new TSG service line across the Americas business. • Key Client & Portfolio Performance – Led a strategy to rebuild AECOM’s Alternative Delivery practice in the Mid-Atlantic region by securing and delivering a number of signature design-build projects over a two year period (Frederick Douglas Memorial Bridge, Arlington Memorial Bridge, I-395 Express Lanes, Harry Nice Bridge).• Targeted Performance Improvements – Fully accountable for the successful turn-around of AECOM’s LATAM business, transitioning this business from break even in FY18 to over 20% profitability in FY20; Led the resurgence of AECOM’s Mid-Atlantic Region in FY17 through the implementation of growth and operational initiatives, resulting in that region leading all others in profitability.

Mr. Faust held leadership and business development roles within AECOM’s Transportation Business, including leading the firm’s Surface Transportation Market Sector in North America, responsible for selling and capturing over $1B in annual business across a full range of services from program management to design and construction management. Mr. Faust has also held leadership positions within AECOM’s Specialty Toll and Complex Bridge Practices, providing advice and guidance on major project pursuits in these areas. Selected achievements include:• As North America Surface Transportation lead, achieved double-digit year-over-year sales growth in the highway & bridge market sector (2014/15). • As US Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regional Market Sector leader, exceeded sales and booking goals for four consecutive years (2010-2013).• Worked closely with Pennsylvania’s Public-Private-Partnership office to develop the framework for that state’s innovative Rapid Bridge Replacement P3 project involving the finance, design, construction and maintenance of 564 bridges (FY14/15)• M&A – Participated in on-site due diligence as part of AECOM’s South Africa M&A strategy (FY12)

As Chief Engineer, Mr. Faust was responsible for the development and implementation of DRPA’s capital improvement and maintenance program across all core facilities including four long-span toll bridges, a high speed commuter rail system, a passenger ferry system and a cruise terminal facility. In this role Mr. Faust reported directly to DRPA’s Board of Commissioners, and was a member of the agency’s strategic management and central safety committees. Mr. Faust developed a particular expertise in the field of risk-based asset management, and was directly responsible for organizing, developing and implementing DRPA’s security infrastructure plan following the events of September 11, 2001.

As Director of Figg’s southeast regional office, Mr. Faust was responsible for all operational aspects of the firm’s business including sales, profitability, client management, staffing and project performance. Under Mr. Faust’s leadership, the southeast regional office also functioned as Figg’s national headquarters, housing the firm’s thought leadership in innovative and cable-stayed bridge design. During his tenure, Mr. Faust’s staff delivered a number of high-profile projects including the design of the Leonard P. Zakim cable-stayed bridge in Boston, and the design-build execution of elevated viaduct portions of the JFK Airport Light Rail Transit system in New York.

As a department manager and senior engineer, Mr. Faust was entrusted to lead the agency’s most complex and high profile projects including the $350M Walt Whitman Bridge Corridor Reconstruction, and the design of a new Enterprise Operations Center housing consolidated traffic management, train operations and security monitoring functions.

Responsible for financial management and technical oversite of transportation improvement projects involving highway, bridge and rail infrastructure.

Responsible for technical management and execution of transportation infrastructure improvement projects ranging from $10M to $50M construction cost.
