As the Education Strategy Lead at STEM Learning UK, I head a team of professional development and education specialists who deliver a Department for Education-funded programme to more than 60,000 educators over five years. I have nearly 20 years of experience in leading and managing STEM education projects and initiatives, with a focus on computing and computer science, digital skills and EdTech, and teaching and learning with AI.My mission is to improve the quality and accessibility of STEM education across the UK, especially in computing and technology, by creating and curating high-impact training courses, teaching resources, and student projects in collaboration with national and international partners. I have a strong background in computing and AI, with a master's degree in technology-enhanced learning, innovation and change and working towards a master's degree in computer science and artificial intelligence from the University of York. I also write and speak extensively on curriculum and policy issues, and have served on the subject advisory board for computing.
