I received my Bachelors of Arts degree in Graphic and Web Design at The Art Institute of Phoenix in September 2017. Shortly after, I was hired as a Lead Graphic Designer by Serfas, a manufacturer of bicycles and accessories. While working at Serfas, I was able to enter the world of entrepreneurship and completing three jobs. I was let go due to the COVID-19 pandemic shortly after completing my two years with Serfas. After a year of job searching in Arizona and in California, Berkeley Nucleonics Corporation showed interest. I gladly accepted the opportunity in becoming their Marketing/Multimedia Graphic Designer and Sales Specialist. I moved in with my godparents who lived in the Bay Area.I gained a lot of experience in marketing. I now understand the importance and how it play a major role in sales. A task I am extremely proud of is when I published three technical books that went over the fundamentals of Quantum Computing, RF/Microwave, and High Current/High Voltage. The company are still utilizing these books today.There was later an opening for a full time sales position and after months of hiring possible candidates, management started looking within the company. I was one if not the only one certified to take the role. I was offered the position and gladly accepted.As a Sales Associate I began to notice that the sales process had room for growth. I started to note take and began to propose several ideas. Many of these ideas were put into practice. I started to become very technical after getting more familiar with the equipment. Strategy became my forte. My work has led me to become one of the best in sales. I was then given the title as a Technical Sales Representative.Now that I know a lot about the equipment and I have a good process in place, I am aiming to become the Account Manager for the company. As of today, I am tasked to manage big/key accounts around the US and in Canada. From academia, to private businesses, to national laboratories around the nation and in Canada.
