Tasked with generating sufficient revenue to sustain the school’s operations in accordance with the strategic plan, the Advancement Department includes roles in Admissions, Fundraising, Community Development, Marketing and Communications. My responsibilities, as they have evolved over my time with the school, are outlined below.• Responsible for furthering the mission and vision of the school by securing the required revenue to meet the school’s operational needs and strategic aspirations. This was accomplished by achieving admission and fundraising targets and through ongoing stakeholder engagement.• Led team members in achieving an opening enrolment of 540 students, with less than a 10% attrition rate and an increase in the number of international students. This secured over 100% of the school’s $10.5m annual operating budget creating a positive cash flow from operations. • Led team members and volunteers in building a culture of philanthropy demonstrated by a 29% increase in Annual Fund donors year over year. Implemented giving levels to segment donors and utilised moves management techniques to increase the average donation amount.• Member of three CIS steering committees, the Senior Leadership and Administrative teams and acted as advisor to the Board of Governors through roles on the Advancement, Finance and Facility committees.
