Information Systems Project Planner/Project Manager

Provides an enterprise-wide approach to identify, prioritize, and successfully manage the Information Systems Project Portfolio that is aligned with Care New England’s strategic goals•Responsible for the collection of clear, accurate and consistent data for each project to support the overall strategic needs of the Project Management Office. •Monitors project share point sites, schedules, and status reports to provide warnings of serious deviations from project standards and methodology that may compromise project results. •Supports various project activities, which can include overseeing maintenance of project budgets, assisting in allocation of resources, providing critical path analysis, and monitoring variance reports. •Provides initial consultation with project requests and facilitates project presentations to the Information Services Project Assessment Committee. •Aids in the implementations of standard project management processes, tools and methodology. •Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects•Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget•Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility•Ensure resource availability and allocation•Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress•Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques•Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques•Report and escalate to management as needed•Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders•Perform risk management to minimize project risks•Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors•Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
