Management of full accounting function providing Financial and Commercial support to both internal & external stakeholders such as Management, Customers, Inland Revenue and appointed auditors. Responsible for- Month End Accounts and reporting packs including KPI’s such as cash flow, commitment reports, cost of ownership, debt and variance analysis and margin- Year End Accounts, Tax Packs and subsequent Audits. - VAT returns, P11d’s, PSA returns and subsequent Audits and negotiations.- Blue Sky , Annual and Quarterly Forecasts.- Contract amendments, re bid and extensions ( MoD)- Contract tenders & bids (commercial).- Supervision and development of 3 staffAchievements:- Reduced reporting deadlines from 5 to 3 days and created greater flexibility within dept.- Part of SAP /F100 implementation team in addition to being a SAP super user.- Project Managed ledgers transfer from Sun to SAP & designed the WBS structures for Marine Services.- Project Managed roll out of Co Credit Card scheme prior to Divisional trial and Group wide rollout, - Assisted in Contract Bid review teams such as London congestion charge, RFA Tank Clean.In addition I manage & maintain facilities & services at 3 sites in Scotland.

Responsible for:- Supervision of Purchase Ledger and Cashbooks for both Pinnacle and Vodafone ( 6 staff )- Supervision of Cash Processing and Retail Sales Information teams ( 12 staff) - Preparation of quarterly VAT returns for both Pinnacle & Vodafone- Weekly/Monthly KPI reporting re churn, retail connections and cash flow forecasts - Reconciliation of Subscriber movements from Dise/JDE to Airtime Networks- Management of Dealership commissions, Bonuses & Claw backs- Preparation of monthly management accounts & analysis of stock.- Management of Fund AccountsAchievements: -- Project managed, resourced, coached and developed the Cash Processing Team of seven, resulting in the accurate monthly allocation of £4M+ cash revenue to customers a/c’s and significant improvements in service levels to both internal and external customers resulting in a 75% reduction in customer queries.- Project managed, resourced, coached and developed the Retail Sales team of five servicing 32 store enabling the accurate recording of sales, stock and commissions.- Project managed the Implementation of new procedures and controls within organisation in keeping with Co’s rapid growth and changing systems.- Project managed the Bulk transfer of purchased base of 32000 customers from Barclays to NatWest- Set up the treasury side for E-commerce retail web site “Buzz”. (Joint venture with Demon)
