Currently focused on assuring American Superiority in Electronic Warfare (EW) & Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) through Electromagnetic Protection. At work, that means developing and integrating novel technologies for GPS-denied positioning, navigation and timing. On weekends, that means a new approach to RF steganography and a new EW/SIGINT toolkit. As an engineer, I feel the most fulfilled when I deliver value by:‣ Creating clean interfaces: That includes other developers at API boundaries, or end-users on their end-user devices (EUDs)‣ Fluidly integrating my system with the customer's existing systems: Integrating with systems like TAK/ATAK (or EWPMT) makes my team's product more usable and its data more useful in the target organization. ‣ Reducing overhead by making difficult choices about software design: Sometimes this increases upfront hours and leads me to late nights working (in order to keep other deadlines) but the exchange for lower technical debt, fewer bugs, and increased product confidence
