Profile bio

About D. Greg Scott

An experienced, opinionated, and hard working IT professional with a reputation for finding and implementing innovative and low cost solutions to tough IT challenges. I became a credit card fraud victim in late 2011. I'm still mad about that because the crooks are still roaming the internet. By early 2014, I was also frustrated with headline after headline about companies who allowed attackers to steal my personal information. And, so I decided to stop whining and start doing something about it. I wrote “Bullseye Breach: Anatomy of an Electronic Break-In” to show how Russian mobsters stole forty million customer credit card numbers from fictional retailer, Bullseye Stores. And “Virus Bomb” shows what might happen if attackers really do get serious about penetrating an industry and stealing secrets.Let's fight back together.
