I have been a secondary school teacher for nearly 30 years, all of them in Royal Greenwich Schools. I have held a senior leadership role for 20 of those years, and was delighted to be appointed Head Teacher at Plumstead Manor in May 2015. I am passionate about the power of education to unlock doors and open up opportunities for young people of all abilities and backgrounds. Overcoming barriers and providing the conditions for young people to thrive and flourish are my passion, and I'm dedicated to offering excellence to all young people. My firm belief is that schools like Plumstead Manor are assets in their local community, engines of opportunity and equity, generators of harmony and cohesion for the young people and families they serve. These are exciting times at Plumstead Manor, and I'm proud to serve as Head in a wonderfully vibrant and diverse school.
