As a consultant to this company, I create and implement sales and marketing strategies that allow for market penetration in the areas of data security, infrastructure infusion, and managed/hosted services. Serving in a hunter-type role, as well as offering traditional sales support, my responsibilities include identifying opportunities and providing a forum for businesses of all sizes to work with leading technology manufactures (like Check Point, Extreme Management, imperva, etc.) to secure and upgrade their company's infrastructure.

I was brought in to take over and manage process improvement, using new and emerging technologies and other means, for all administrative tasks related to the selling and purchasing of residential, land, and commercial real estate as we transition from a real estate team into an independent brokerage. I will be responsible for our customer relationship management/engagement and task allocation as we prepare for fast paced growth over the next 16 months. I am also responsible for creating a brand campaign to develop ubiquity and new business in the Austin and San Antonio communities throughout this transition.

As the marketing Assistant, I focus on making possible our goals pertaining to business development, community education and financial literacy initiatives as well as traditional and web marketing support. I have been involved with every aspect of our marketing team. Some responsibilities include creative direction, press releases, user interface design, community outreach, and event coordination for up to 30+events. I have also managed and improved a multi-million dollar supply and promotional item inventory and branch distribution system via vendor relationship development. I also focus on vendor relationships and corporate communications to service 17 branches in 10 counties in central Texas.

I was brought in to streamline the marketing supply and promotional item inventory process for 17 branch locations while learning and assisting in any capacity our Business Development, Financial Education and traditional Marketing departments. I gained exposure to event coordination, print and design software and training (Adobe Illustrator, Indesign), branding campaign creation, and community outreach.

I was able to bring previous job knowledge to this new team lead position. I was responsible for not only maintaining member relations via the normal teller job functions, but I also was responsible for daily work and cash audits, vault and atm maintenance, branch marketing initiatives, branch goal monitoring, teller training, sales incentive plan creation, branch payroll, new accounts, safe deposit box maintenance, along with several other key responsibilties for successful branch operation. I was the first in this branch to ever win a (and multiple) "high 5" award/s, which honor tellers that consistantly recieve perfect scores from members based on service and promoting peripherial products. I was also the recipient of several "Top Drawer" Awards. I was also the first person in this 63 year old credit union to be offered a team lead position as a part-time employee (I was also a full-time student).

I started with this company as a teller while I was a full-time college student. Over a three year period, I was very successful at honing customer service and sales skills, and was vindicated by constant feedback from our members. I worked in this capacity at two different branches, the second was our Main branch which was larger and much busier. I enjoyed autonimy, from the start of my employment with A+, due to my ability to make good decisions that benefited both the member and the Credit Union. For a large portion of this time, I ran the drive thru at both locations alone. The transactional volume was between 200 and 600 transactions per day.
