I'm a UK-based Cinematographer and Digital Content Creator with over 10 years of experience working in both freelance and staff positions, in production and post-production roles. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and helping others learn both in person and through social media. Some examples include:📺 During my time at BBC South West, I worked as a technical assistant. This primarily involved editing various packages and out-of-vision pieces for the lunchtime, evening and late broadcasts of BBC Spotlight. Working collaboratively with the directors, producers and journalists to produce tight deadline edits in a live broadcast environment. 🎥 As the Video Producer at Plymouth Marjon University, I've been able to establish and develop a variety of video content for their website, social media channels and wider marketing use. This has led to the consistent growth in their social media views and reach, as well as contributing to the student recruitment process. 📱My personal social media channels have a combined following of 110K+ with over 8 million views. I've recently started to specialise in short-form content for Instagram and Tiktok where I share tutorials on low-budget cinematography and filmmaking in general.📚 As an associate lecturer, I've taught students in higher education for both production and post-production modules. I continue to work as a content creator and freelance filmmaker while pursuing opportunities in the camera department for commercial, narrative and music projects.
