• Act as a technical resource on various projects both within the United States and abroad for public and private sector clients• Ensure projects follow applicable state and federal laws including CERCLA, RCRA, and the Clean Water Act• Develop innovative remedial solutions for persistent soil and groundwater contamination• Develop and oversee soil and groundwater assessments for both contamination and clean water projects • Work independently and with teams of environmental professionals (risk assessors, engineers, geologists, scientists, technicians and drillers) on a wide variety of environmental studies, investigations, assessments, remediation, and monitoring programs (soil, groundwater, surface water, air/vapor)• Business development including responding to request for proposals and meeting with existing and prospective clients

Provide contract services to environmental consulting firms

• Conduct environmental studies, contamination investigations, due diligence with respect to Phase I and II environmental site assessments, and remedial action plans for property transactions, commercial development and litigation support for commercial and governmental clients• Develop and manage Phase I environmental site assessment program with outside vendors to meet client expectations while satisfying challenging deadlines and maintaining profitability• Develop project proposals for current and prospective clients• Evaluate and apply environmental rules and regulations in support of project objectives and the protection of human health and the environment• Work independently and with teams of environmental professionals (engineers, geologists, scientists, technicians and drillers) on a wide variety of environmental studies, investigations, assessments and remediation and monitoring programs (soil, groundwater, surface water, air/vapor)• Conduct environmental liability assessment to aid in bankruptcy proceeding for a Fortune 500 company• Chlorinated solvents, petroleum, heavy metal, asbestos and PCB sites

• Manage a portfolio of LUST sites for a Fortune 500 energy corporation, including current and historic service stations throughout California• Act as liaison between clients and regulatory agencies to develop and negotiate project objectives• Develop regulatory deliverables, including work plans; soil, groundwater and soil gas investigation reports; site conceptual models; risk assessments; feasibility studies; corrective action plans; UST removal and excavation reports; and case closure requests• Develop and meet budgets while achieving project objectives• Evaluate historical site use to identify potential sources of contamination and analyze data to determine extent and movement of contaminant plumes• Coordinate and direct subcontractors and oversee implementation of fieldwork ensuring a safe work environment• Act as remedial adviser for various projects to improve technology selection and optimization of existing systems• Primarily petroleum sites with commingled plumes including chlorinated solvents

Maintain two research sites and conduct laboratory physical soil analysis
