Allow me to introdue myself...I am currently serving as a Technology Educator, Professional Videographer/Photographer, and Head Swim Coach. With over 20 years of experience in the field of digital media, my focus has been on production and design. Throughout my educational career, I have had the privilege of teaching thousands of students the essential skills of editing, producing, and filming, many of whom have successfully transitioned into the industry. This portfolio is a testament to my capabilities as a producer, photographer, editor, and graphic designer.My extensive experience in education has fostered my ability to adapt to diverse situations and collaborate effectively with a wide array of personalities. I possess expertise in technology training, digital design, and video production, and I hold certifications in the Adobe Creative Suite. The students in my program are equipped with industry-recognized certifications in Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, InDesign, and Illustrator. I also have strong classroom management and leadership skills.Through the Design Academy at Bartow High School, I am committed to creating a positive learning environment and promoting school spirit. This is achieved through engaging design projects and the production of a weekly school news show, both of which empower students and enhance their educational experience.
