Principal Technical ArchitectAt&T Apr 2011 - PresentDallas, Tx, UsMember of corporate architecture team responsible for all containers and frameworks. Design, develop, support, educate, and train on frameworks and technologies including Cloud, BPMN, Microservices, CI/CD, application servers, logging, I18N, messaging, and much more.Designed and developed container to allow multiple independent deployments of Apache Camel routes. Container can run embedded or stand-alone, and provides dynamic management and deployment. Used for corporate message mediation gateway for direct interfacing with partners and vendors. Took over a research project called IDP and productized it, driving it all the way to production. The project is an ALM framework that ties together all of the tools involved in software design, construction, testing, planning, project management, deployment, and support. The project was in danger of being cancelled but was turned around and hugely successful within 6 months.I am the lead technical architect that designed and documented the CDP product. CDP is a tool that allows application development teams to describe their application and its infrastructure requirements using a declarative, model-based approach, and then to deploy that model across any supported IaaS provider (OpenStack, AWS, VMWare, BareMetal, Azure, etc). Many of the technologies that were developed as part of CDP have now been moved to open source. One major component that I designed and wrote most of is the Provider Abstraction Layer, which can be seen here: https://github.com/att/AJSC/tree/master/cdp-pal Another framework component that is nearly all mine is EELF (Event and Error Logging Framework), and can be seen here: https://github.com/att/EELF. We will be moving more of CDP to open source soon. CDP is also evolving to support microservices using Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters. I am responsible for training and documentation on these extensions, as well as mentoring, consulting, and customer technical onboarding. -
