Global Sourcing : - Definition of the strategy and the purchasing policy for decorative items, choice and design of furniture.- Negotiation of purchasing contracts at a national and international level- Global sourcing (Asia, North America, Europe)- Management of the transfer and transport of goods- Purchasing savings through product modifications or the implementation of innovative tools in line with the marketing strategy- Development of new products in partnership with strategic suppliers.- Very frequent international travel and mobility (visit to international fairs and exhibitions (more than 25 visits to 10 different countries)- Optimization of the supply chain and logistics flows- Re-sourcing and complete optimization of the supplier panel.Strategic management: -Implementating and directing commercial and promotional strategies in order to suscitate client engagement and promote sales -Competitive market research and elaboration of strategiesOperational management :-Annual budget drafting and management and profitability monitoring-Setting up of product merchandising strategies-Receiving and verifying the ordered goods and communication with the supplier in the event of issues relating to the quantity received or product quality.-Finalising contracts for decorative tailored fittings (project made on more than 1000 appartments)-Travelling around the world (to international fairs and exhibition salons) (more than 25 visits to 10 different countries) to carry out benchmarking and prospection of suppliers and partners.HR Management and leadership:Setting up of the recruitment policyMotivating, supporting and training staff with respect to the various products as well as on sales and negotiation techniques

• Setting up and piloting the commercial strategySupervising and managing sales advisors and department managersAssessing preferences and customer ehaviour, combined with market trends and data history, in order to adjust and improve campaigns.Prospecting new suppliers and international benchmarking

Pre-opening- Analysing needs and study of the product selection :- Setting up and putting together artistic spheres for the products (assortments, fabrics, colours…)- Drawing up of a plan for assorting products with different styles (Jazzed-up traditional, contemporary…)- Sourcing products at fairs and international salons dedicated to home interiors and decoration- Working alongside experts and internationa consultants specialised in the field- Prospecting suppliers and ordering goods- Drawing up a supplier database and the selection thereof- Drawing up a database of products and creating EAN codes- Ordering merchandise and follow-up of the logistics process and delivery- Setting up and supervising marketing actions- Organising product shoots in collaboration with internationally-renowned photographers- Drawing up product catalogs and poster and teasing campaigns with specialised agencies- Organising the day of the opening (8th of August, 2012)After the opening of the store:- Motivating and training teams with respect to the products and procedures in place- Recruitment and interviews- Merchandising structurants and creating moods/environment- Supervising labelling and removing packaging
