The responsibility is to lead the marketing and branding effort for an ‘alternate fuel technology brand’. We are now in the ‘launch phase’ of the Electric Buses powered by KPIT’s technology, and key focus is execution of ‘Go to Market’ plans, co-marketing with partners etc. Additional responsibilities are assessment of new product applications/ variants, exploring overseas markets and development & planning for release of new products/technologies

Part of a team that is bringing to market innovative technologies in the space of clean connected and mobility. Responsibility is to lead the marketing effort for an ‘alternate fuel technology brand’. Develop the marketing and branding strategy including co-branding (logos) on the electric bus and co-marketing with partners. Develop the ‘User Experience (UX) activities and plans via on filed research competition benchmarking etc. I work very closely with sales teams for customer interactions as a ‘Subject Matter Expert’ via presentations and technology demonstrations. The electric vehicle market is at a very exciting phase in India, thus my role also involves supporting product management in multiple areas i.e. thought leadership presentations, white papers, project reports, on field research, ecosystem connects, media interactions, market assessment for new products/variants and lots of number crunching for various business case scenarios. I also represented the organization for an ‘electric bus’ training in Shenzhen – China’.

The key responsibility was ‘Market Creation’ for vehicle safety products i.e. Antilock Braking System (ABS) for passenger cars and two wheelers and Airbags for passenger cars. The role entailed extensive research to understand the vehicle safety market e.g. consumer awareness levels, manufacturer objections, and automotive regulation/ standards ecosystem etc. Executed a pan India ‘End User Survey’ to understand the awareness of ABS conducted with AC Nielsen. Other responsibilities were, customer and media interactions, events and political consulting. I also had the opportunity to work with the Bosch ‘Accident Research’ team and leveraged their reports and experts to educate the ecosystem (Government, NGOs). Single-handedly conducted ‘Safety Drive’ – A first ever live demonstration event in India for ABS & Electronic Stability Program(ESP). The event was attended by~500 people from the Government, OEMs, Trade bodies and Media on a vehicle test track in Chennai. I was also awarded ‘Employee of the Quarter’ for Q1 of 2012 & 2014 for exceptional event management

Responsible for all the ‘Below the line - BTL” activations for L’Oréal, Garnier, and Maybelline across the UAE. This role provided a great insight into the world of luxury skincare and cosmetics i.e. the marketing, promotions, on ground activations, budgets and business operations etc. I was responsible for the planning and execution of all sales promotions in the UAE. The role also involved managing budgets, generating MIS reports and analysis for Allied Enterprises and L’Oréal Middle East management and work closely with individual brand managers for new launches, activations, promotions, for each SKU

A pure marketing communications profile in the highly competitive jewellery scene in Dubai. I got the opportunity to execute media campaigns in print & radio and run UAE wide sales promotions. Lots of creative work – photoshoots, artworks, recordings, exhibitions and handling agencies etc. Was responsible for the marketing plan and budgets. Designed and executed multiple campaigns in Print, Radio, Television for seasonal activations, sales promotions and new launches. Also, established and manage the ecosystem connects i.e. at Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group and World Gold Council

A friend’s uncle gave us the opportunity to start our own business. This friend and I setup the ‘Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG)’ distribution business. We started with a few small products and then increased our portfolio. We were responsible for the retail distribution of Brands like Sundrop Oil - Agrotech Foods, Cavin Kare. Products - Fairever, Nyle Shampoo, Priya Gold Biscuits, etc. Managed and led a staff of 15 inclusive of a sales teams and logistics teams. Successfully serviced 1500 Outlets including – Retail store, super markets and wholesalers.

Right out of college this was the classic sales job – cold calling, lead generations, support project management teams etc. An excellent field experience of meeting a wide range of executives from consultants to IT heads to purchase teams to interior designers and distributors.
