This was accomplished using the specialized PFAST (Production Flow Analysis and Simplification Toolkit) software to do a process flow analysis of our current operations and analyzing the program’s outputs. His studies identified opportunities and solutions for improving the production throughput and employee productivity in the Manual Packing Cell. Dhananjay also worked with the in-house Continuous Improvement Team and cell employees to implement 5S and LEAN practices in other manufacturing cells. As a result of this process, he also identified work stations which would be better suited to the FLEAN concepts and developed a design for a multi-purpose workstation in the Manual Packing Cell. We were very pleased with Dhanajay’s contributions on this important project. He demonstrated a strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills.
