As an experienced software architect with a passion for technology, I am always looking for new and innovative ways to build high-quality software applications using industry standard tools. With over 18 years of experience in the finance industry, I have a deep understanding of technology and I am experienced in developing end to end brokerage and institutional trading, accounting, pricing, and tax applications in public and private cloud infrastructures. I have significant business knowledge of Collateral Management, Repo, and Derivatives trading and I also have hands-on development experience on building these trading platforms. I have a proven track record of leading highly skilled software engineering teams, and my coaching, mentoring, and people management skills are highly regarded by those who have worked with me. I was instrumental in starting a few Communities of Practices (COPs) to promote collaboration, networking, best practices, and skill development of the associates and technology leaders. In my recent exploration of blockchain technology, I have developed basic coding skills in Solidity programming language and gained hands-on experience in developing, testing, and deploying smart contracts in the Ethereum blockchain. I am also exploring Hyperledger Fabric and a few other Blockchain tools to develop Decentralized Applications (dApp). Apart from my work and family, I also volunteer my time to support local communities and non-profit organizations.
