-Managing and overseeing all EHS activities at the facility, ensuring integration of safety protocols within operational processes.-Conducting regular safety audits and inspections, utilizing tools such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Safety Integrity Level (SIL) assessments.-Developing and implementing site-specific safety policies and procedures, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).-Leading incident investigations using methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Fishbone (Ishikawa) Diagrams, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).-Providing comprehensive EHS training and education to employees, incorporating modules on ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and chemical safety.-Ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, including OSHA standards, EPA guidelines, and local regulations.-Performing root cause analysis and hazard identification (HAZID) studies, as well as HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) studies for process safety management.-Utilizing safety engineering principles such as inherent safety design, engineering controls, and risk assessment matrices to design safer systems and processes.-Driving continuous improvement in safety performance metrics, including Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR), Lost Time Injury Rate (LTIR), and Near Miss Frequency Rate (NMFR).-Coordinating environmental management programs, including waste management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives, and conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) to minimize environmental impact.
