The most important aspect of this role is triaging new claims notifications and dealing with credit hire claims received on the MoJ portal and within the team queue. Once hire is identified, it is my job to make sure that the credit hire claim is kept as low as possible.It meant employing various strategies and tactics to reduce the duration, try to mitigate the hire as early as possible. Once hire is identified, it is my job to make sure that the credit hire claim is kept as low as possible.It meant employing various strategies and tactics to reduce the duration, try to mitigate the hire as early as possible. This also involved liaising with our engineers, credit hire organization and third-party solicitors on a daily basis. One of the most important aspects of the role was negotiating the final hire bill with credit hire organizations and solicitors.Along with the credit hire, I also have a thorough understanding of the personal injury claim process. Using our portal software to input and value injuries and make settlement offers to third party solicitors was also an important aspect of my job role.General tasks include taking calls from various stakeholders involved in the claim process e.g. brokers, solicitors, hire companies, etc. Ensuring our work queue is up to date and work is completed accurately.Assessing liability and ensuring our policyholder and brokers are kept updated. Adhering to GDPR to safeguard the customers and the business. Sending any claims with risk indicators to our fraud team for further investigations.
