The TSC is a one-of-a-kind Provincial facility, designated as Mission Critical within the Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations & Rural Development Business Continuity Plan. The TSC serves forest licensees, woodlot licensees, District and BC Timber Sales, seed orchards, forest nurseries, tree seed dealers, First Nations, researchers, educators and the public. The facility, which is owned and operated by the Ministry, is located on 4.5 hectares of land, measures 3,623 square meters and is comprised of offices, cone conditioning areas, cone and seed processing and distribution areas, seed laboratory, coolers and long-term storage vaults.

As Manager, Facilities - Maintenance and Operations (Fairview Campus), I provided day-to-day management in the area of building maintenance for the overall College campus, including Grounds Operations, Civil maintenance and construction, Building Operations/Maintenance and temporary/casual employees. I monitored and evaluated the performance of contracted companies including, but not limited to, Trade services, custodial services, food services and security, as well as assisted with negotiating/updating service agreements balancing the budget, Creating the Purchase orders, I programmed and maintained the Computerized Maintenance Management system and I was also Vice chair of the Animal Care Committee.

An Energy Consultancy. I started this company about 10 years ago for contracting to the Energy Industry top companies such as Exxon, Suncor, Imperial, Nexen, Sakhalin Energy. I work as a direct employee of these companies, or as a Contractor. I am currently working as a Project Manager as well as a Project Engineer for FEED and Execute phases of engineering and managing the information right into project execution, then commissioning and start up of major oil and gas facilities. I have also contracted in positions such as Utilities and Offsite s Heavy Metal Trades Senior Planner at Syncrude Canada the largest oilsands site in the world. When completed they assumed my roles and responsibilities asplanned, fully trained in the creation of multitrade job packages and to use thenew system to organize several different site locations simultaneous shutdownssafely, including 3 offshore rigs, and onshore processing facility, and the largestliquefied natural gas plant in the world. Currently working with the major shut down group of the Conversion dept. onthe Coker shut downs. Duties include all Project Controls for Jacobs multi-tradecontract, monitoring and controlling, planning, scheduling and cost controlsdeptments, also planning and coordinating the Electrical work in support of theE/I dept. Leading the shift in corporate culture towards reliabilitymaintenance best practices with the Planning Superintendents and Seniormanagement long-term strategies. Preparing and programming the 8-2 cokershutdown Electrical work for the replacement of four Variable Frequency Drivesthat control 12 coke Slurry Pumps. Meeting with engineering to evaluate andplan the resources and work scope with consideration to materials, equipment,manpower requirements, and technical data. Performing field evaluations ofwork progress and actual schedule compliance. As well as the planning,scheduling, and cost controls for the shut down work scope for the rotatingschedule as outlined by Exxon and Imperial oil's global reliability system. Asthey are the managing partners of Syncrude Canada, a joint venture, the largestoil sands operation in the world.

Plan and coordinate all the maintenance, for each system, all disciplines, andevery company that does maintenance in any area of the 6 billion dollar SAGDoperation, the largest of its kind in the world currently. This includes conductingand controlling daily notification review meetings for emergency schedulebreaking work, daily review of all crafts progress on multiple projects, reviewingall preventative maintenance work, arranging and producing a daily and weeklyschedule after analyzing and prioritizing all the work. Insuring materialsmanagement and procurement is in place for planned and break in work.Overseeing the production of reports for schedule compliance, budgeting,histories capture and trends. Deciding and implementing the appropriatebudgets to pay for the work from the WBS elements. Liaison and facilitatemeetings with Commissioning and start up and construction management/engineering teams, Developing, creating, and guiding preventativemaintenance plans from vendor documents and construction details. Organize,monitor and control shutdowns and turnaround work, all through SAP, and otherproject management based software.Core competencies as follows:· Coordinates labor resources, equipment, parts and materials to support themaintenance function in the areas of breakdown, preventative, predictive andcondition based maintenance.· Coordinates and administers all day to day maintenance planning activities.Involves receiving work requests from client departments and determining whoshould perform the work: maintenance personnel, contractor or engineering.Maintenance work is planned by identifying required labor, tools, materials,project lead-time, and estimating number of personnel hours required tocomplete the work requests. Work with Jacobs site manager and regional manager to organize andcoordinate all site maintenance for every discipline. Meet with Nexen seniormanagement and facilitate resolution of any process or system Nexen wantedto implement, including SAP integration, workflow, commissioning and start upsupport, construction management support, develop and initiate preventativemaintenance program interfacing with data management teams across Canada,virtual based meetings.
