Our growing economy with a massive skill-deficit provides real opportunity for them to escape the cycle of poverty, through gainful employment but imparting livelihood training is proving to be insufficient.The/Nudge Foundation focuses on sustainable poverty alleviation by building a strong 360-degree life, learning and economic foundation for poor in residential “Gurukuls”, along with lifelong support system. Partnerships:-Built, strengthened and formed strong partnerships with 35 government and low-income private schools affecting 90 Fellows & 3000 students.-Initiated and managed external partnerships in the field of mental health, sanitation, and gender for stronger community impact in 3 regions across Bangalore and mobilized 9 Fellows towards creating 30 Parent ChampionsAdvocacy:-Developed and managed partnerships with 3 key senior public officials and policy makers at state and local levels. (DPI and South 2, South 3 and South 4 blocks) for timely permissions and creating a pathway for impact.Strategy:-Part of the core team which created the strategy for the Bangalore site of 90 Fellows and operations worth Rs 4.5 cr-Collaborated with 7 Program managers for the successful implementation of the Program support model for Bangalore -Collaborated with 2 Program Managers to implement the child safety project in partnership with 2 external orgs -Co-led the expansion project and line managed 5 Fellows for building knowledge about the landscape to make our placement and expansion strategy data were driven.Fellow Selection:-Conducted 100+ First Reviews and Phone Interviews for 2014,2015 and 2016 Fellow cohorts.-Conducted 20+ Personal Interviews for the 2017 Fellow cohort.-Managed and led the Community engagement Parent LC project Fellow Committee consisting of 9 Fellows-Created process documents on Parent Teachers conferences, Parent engagement Learning circles to facilitate investing and empowering our stakeholder.Research:-Conducted the TFI Bangalore landscape study in line with CIPP & SABER framework which aims to identify development gaps across the city that obstructs child development in low-income communities-Conducted the Expansion project and research process that aims to build knowledge about the landscape to make our placement and expansion strategy data driven.

• Taught English, Math and Science to 3rd and 4th grade students of KARE High school • Achieved an average growth of 1.2 years in reading levels through extensive data analysis and making ambitious yet feasible goals for my students • The attendance at Parents’ teachers meetings increased by 40% at quarterly meetings • As part of the Selection committee I reviewed 80 applications across 3 cycles of recruitment and conducted 30 phone interviews of prospective fellows • As part of the recruitment committee I could get 40 candidates to apply to the fellowship from various coffee chats and college visits • Founded Just For Kicks – Hyderabad chapter along with 3 other fellows and got 12 schools onboard and impacting 130 kids with a reinforced curriculum around football and life skills.
