As the Undersecretary General of Crisis Operations at Central Texas Model United Nations (CTMUN), a 501(c)(3) organization, I oversee the creation and execution of dynamic and engaging simulations that challenge delegates to think critically and creatively about global issues. I work with a team of talented and passionate staff members to design and implement innovative crisis scenarios, train and mentor crisis directors and assistants, and ensure the smooth and successful operation of the crisis committees. I am also a Neuroscience & Plan II Honors student at The University of Texas at Austin, where I am an undergraduate researcher in the Juenger Lab as part of the X-Plants FRI Stream. I am very interested in the mechanisms behind neurodegenerative diseases, and I am currently looking for research opportunities in this field. I was valedictorian of my high school and achieved a 36 ACT score in addition to holding numerous leadership roles. I am a driven, adaptable, and collaborative leader who strives to create meaningful and impactful learning experiences for myself and others.
