Dhara DeVane has had a passion for a wide variety of culinary endeavors since she was a child. Growing up with a mother that placed an emphasis on the love and effort she put into each meal she made, it was inevitable that such core memories would go unnoticed. After laying the founding framework for a culinary club in high school with a handful of friends, it was then she realized the community building power a wholesome meal can create. Inspired by these childhood experiences, Dhara knew this was where her purpose lay.In 2021 Dhara earned her Culinary Arts Diploma and associate's in arts from Cape Fear Community College, where she graduated with honors through the Wilmington Early College High School program. She then transferred to North Carolina A&T State University and graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Agribusiness and Food Industry Management in May 2024. Outside of school, Dhara enjoys trying different restaurants, watching documentaries, and hosting dinner parties with her college friends. She plans to focus her efforts on a career in food research, with a strong interest recipe development and product marketing. Dhara plans to channel her experiences into creating products that will be the foundation of memorable experiences for people across the world.
