Dharam receives instructions as sole or junior Counsel across a range of commercial, real estate related and constitutional litigation as well as ad hoc and institutional commercial arbitration proceedings, and undertakes pleading and advisory work for a variety of domestic and international clients.He regularly appears before the Bombay High Court, the National Company Law Tribunal, Maharashtra Real Estate Appellate Tribunal and the MahaRERA, Debt Recovery Tribunals and before arbitral tribunals seated in India and abroad. Dharam has extensive experience in handling litigations across various fora and arbitrations for leading Indian and international banks in relation to foreign exchange derivative transactions. In the last few years, Dharam has also gathered substantial media law experience. He has been regularly appearing in diverse court and arbitration proceedings on behalf of the leading actors, directors and production houses of the Indian film industry, and also on behalf of India's only television rating agency. Dharam has also gathered extensive experience in RERA related matters and advises and appears for real estate developers as well as allottees. He regularly sits as an arbitrator in domestic arbitrations, and accepts appointment as an arbitrator in international arbitrations.Dharam was appointed to the Global Steering Committee of the CIArb Young Members Group between January, 2019 and January, 2022. He has also been admitted as a Fellow of the CIArb in February, 2019 and as a Fellow of Prime Dispute in March, 2019.He has been accredited as a Tribunal Secretary in International Commercial Arbitration by the HKIAC.He was granted full registration as a Foreign Lawyer by the Singapore International Commercial Court (SICC) in May 2016.
