Deborah N. Staab works to promote the integration of technology into the K-12 curriculum. Her career includes service as teacher, coach, photographer, video producer and has earned such honors as the Milken National Educator Award, Georgia Media Specialist of the Year, and Adobe Education Leader. She serves as a media consultant for the Instructional Technology Department of the Savannah-Chatham Public School System, helping educators utilize video and audio resources to produce live and web-based video broadcasts. She coordinates international film festivals for young film makers. As an Adobe Education Leader, Deborah also conducts classes in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Elements and open source production software in her hometown Savannah and nationally. In 2016 Deborah partnered with Lawrence Staab, both in work and in life, to build their company, Red Carpet Imagery, to produce high-quality video and photography. They offer small private studio space, web site and social media branding, video streaming and instruction. Red Carpet Imagery specializes in creative arts production; including actor’s audition reels, promotional videos, life events and celebrations, product demonstrations, legal/real estate recordings, and dance/theatre performances and rehearsals.Dancing is one of her favorite hobbies and she enjoys interacting with others through music and dance. Deborah is active in her church, Asbury Memorial UMC. She also serves as a community volunteer in a music ministry at several assisted-living and senior residence facilities.
