Our presence as an operator and trusted partner is instrumental in supporting Pertamina's mission to become a global energy company.Achievements:Good performance in 2022: the highest KPI score in Pertamina upstream, in part due to the quick business recovery from COVID-19.Progressively growing production through existing base, contract extension, increased participating interest, and unlocking values through removal of disincentives in the countries we operate.Continued gaining support from shareholders and key stakeholders in the holding companies, government of Indonesia and foreign governments, as well as partners.Driving the company’s future gas development agenda in countries where we operate and all initiatives related to reduction of carbon footprint.

I joined Pertamina Power & New Renewable Energy Subholding at its inception to drive and support Pertamina Power Indonesia (PPI) in preparation for its initial public offering (IPO) in 2021, effectively utilizing public funding for the development of Pertamina's New and Renewable Energy (NRE) business in Indonesia.Achievements:Supported the newly-established PPI in achieving a positive return in 2020 despite significant organizational changes.Oversaw the integration of Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE) into PPI for executing NRE development.Fostered an open-minded mindset within the PPI leadership team, encouraging collaboration with domestic and global NRE players.Ensured clear roles and strategy for the Board of Directors for the collaboration with other players in Indonesia’s battery holding, Indonesia Battery Corporation (IBC).

As Upstream Director, I focused on strengthening Pertamina's upstream operations to align with its goal of becoming a globally competitive national energy company. Achievements:Introduced an integrated upstream depletion and development plan for Mahakam, Offshore South East Sumatra, Jambi Merang, Sanga-Sanga, East Kalimantan, boosting production profiles until 2035.Maintained stable annual production (2018-2020) despite the COVID-19 challenges.Led a seamless Rokan transition, ensuring risk mitigation and eliminating operational silos.Achieved the final investment decision for the strategic Jimbaran Tiung Biru project for Java's gas supply sustainability.Developed a robust upstream strategy for Pertamina Masterplan 2020, collaborating with McKinsey, PwC, BCG, resulting in a revamped Pertamina Upstream structure aligned with global standards.Expanded operations in Algeria, explored mergers and acquisitions in the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia, and established collaborative oversight with subsidiary company, Maurel & Prom.Optimized operational and procurement expenses, increased upstream free cash flow, and implemented a digital procurement system at Pertamina Hulu Energy and Pertamina Hulu Indonesia.Collaborated with SKK Migas on a large-scale 2D seismic survey by Elnusa for exploration in Indonesia’s new frontier.Enhanced Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGE), achieving the Lumut Balai geothermal project's commercial operation date, making PGE Indonesia's leading green energy producer (672MW in 2020).Promoted anti-bribery management, securing ISO 37001 certifications, and demonstrated exemplary behavior in corporate values and Good Corporate Governance (GCG).

The responsibilities in this role include securing headquarters support for upstream exploration opportunities in Indonesia, directing downstream business growth, managing relationships with government officials, ensuring reputation management and compliance, and serving as a single point of accountability for crisis and continuity management.Achievements:Effectively guided the Tangguh Train 3 project through the stages from plan of development submission in 2012 to the US$8 billion final investment decision in 2016, by careful navigation of multiple interests and ensuring its success.Successfully delivered the Tangguh Mega Projects in Papua, overseeing the entire process from exploration to development and operations, while at the same time promoting sustainable development and operations.

I also led the approvals for Integrated Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (AMDAL) from various stakeholders, including local communities and governments.
