Hi, I am Dharmendra Thakur. I have done my Master’s in Journalism and Mass Communication from Faculty of Journalism and Communication, The M.S. University of Baroda.Currently, I am working as a Chief Sub Editor at Gujarati Jagran (Jagran New Media). I work in the Editorial team. I write news articles on topics like politics, entertainment, national news, local news etc. (September 2022 to Present)I have worked as a Content Specialist (Gujarati) in the Public App of Inshorts India Advertising and Services Private Limited for more than 2 years. I was working with the editorial team. I used to review, edit and publish news sent by reporters. (May 2020 to August 2022)I worked as an intern in input editorial team at Sandesh News channel, Ahmedabad during Lok Sabha Election 2019.I also completed a 1 month internship at Republic World, Mumbai during February-March 2020.I did my Final Year Research Dissertation on ‘Influence of Social Media on First Time Voters: A Study of Lok Sabha Election 2019 (Vadodara Parliamentary Constituency)’.My research article titled 'How Social Media influences First Time Voters: A Study of the Vadodara Parliamentary Constituency in Lok Sabha Elections 2019' has been published in the Journal of Global Communication.The biggest reason for me to make a career in Journalism after B.
