I am a computational scientist studying materials using quantum physics, DFT, MD and machine learning.Work Accomplished:• Discovered a new class of magnetic materials, " Bimetallic Chalcogenides" using a DFT-aided stacked machine learning model.• Discovered ferromagnetism in twisted bilayer graphene nanoflakes using density functional theory and exhaustive high-performance computing. • Tuned the ferromagnetism in twisted bilayer graphene nanoflakes using uniaxial electronic pressure.• Studied the electronic and magnetic properties of a nanowire (Cr2Sb2Se6, a magnetic semiconductor).• Designed and identified high-efficiency Li-intercalated graphene-based nanocomposites as electrodes for Li-ion batteries using DFT.• Discovered uphill charge transfer in refractory high entropy alloys using DFT and Bader charge algorithm.• Identified the role of stiffness on lattice distortion and enhancing the strength of high entropy alloys using DFT and MD.• Performed extensive data analysis on satellite and ground-truth precipitation data to predict unusually high precipitation on the earth's surface.
