CurrentWorking as an Automobile Engineer.At Auto Hub Business office Hisar Haryana*Apply experience in technical standards and an understanding of collision repair services, to assist Claims Manager and members of the Claims team with ongoing and litigated claims.*Assist the Insurance and Claims team in the effective monitoring of motor claims compensation spend and the recovery of the organisation's vehicle repair outlayKey Responsibilities*Provide Total Loss Reports in order to set out where vehicles are beyond repair or beyond economical repair, and to assess the cost to replace them.*Obtain accident repair costs from the Met’s vehicle repair suppliers.*Prepare and supply technical engineer reports to assist the claims department to make recoveries.*Prepare Pro forma accident repair cost invoices*Review third party estimates and where required negotiate with repairers / agents to contain claims spend to reasonable levels.Review third party vehicle repair quotes from the Met’s appointed third party vehicle repairer*Respond to ad-hoc enquiries from members of the claim team regarding accident repair specifications and costs*Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Claims Process*Providing Witness Statements to use in litigation by compiling evidence packs consisting of mounted images, estimate, invoice and statement.
