- Supported Peel Region’s role as Service System Manager and system planning for the delivery of the Child Care Fee Subsidy program by developing, implementing, and evaluating new and existing program policies, processes, and job aids for all program stakeholders concerning the National Childcare Strategy. - Conducted program research, analysis, and evaluations to inform evidence-based decision-making. Resulting in increased program efficiency. - Planned, coordinated, and facilitated improvement events in support of program process management utilizing Lean Six Sigma process improvement methodology.- Made recommendations to improve processes, identified best practices, and implemented improvements for the following: Billing and payment process, cross-jurisdictional placements, year-end reconciliations, accruals, and absent days. - Developed and made quarterly updates to the Child Care application data report to analyze cumulative measured data, evaluated patterns and trends, and supported management resource decisions. - Recipient of the esteemed 2023 Peel Celebrates Award: Human Services Commissioner’s Values in Action award. Recognized for outstanding contributions and leadership in successfully rolling out the National Child Care Strategy program in Peel, achieving remarkable milestones, and impacting the lives of numerous families in the region.
