I'm an experienced React developer with a strong background in creating mobile-optimized, responsive web applications using JavaScript frameworks. Skilled in collaborating with teams and working independently, quickly learning new technologies and incorporating thoughtful modern UX design into projects.I'm seeking a full-stack or front-end engineer position to develop meaningful and user-friendly digital products in the areas of web development, software development, database management, and design.EXPERIENCEMy most recent work has been to fix, improve, and update the Texas Cheer Allstars website as well as design their logos where I would communicate with the business owner on how they wanted their users to experience new information and resources they wanted to add. Their site is texascheerallstars.com.I'm also working to develop a mobile optimized, web application to showcase an individual’s racing information including 4 types of user updatable items including an articles, notable race videos, sponsor information, and socials, as well as methods for contact via an email API. This web app was created with React.js and uses a headless CMS (Contentful) for content updates. I took special care to make the website Progressive Web App (PWA) Optimized for mobile devices. This website is in a constant state of growth as new features will continue to be added, bugs fixed, and polish applied. The current public iteration can be seen at knbracing.com.For my final year at Texas A&M University, I worked on a capstone project as the lead software engineer in a 4 person team in which we where tasked by a customer to make their product idea a reality. The project was to collect data from a race car in real-time so that a secondary user could advise the driver on their performance during practice. I designed a web page from scratch using basic JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 to receive and display JSON data from a microcontroller using a Node.js based WebSocket server connection 20 times per second. Constant and clear communication between team members and with stakeholders was a key factor in the success of this project. The code and example screenshots can be seen at github.com/AutotronixEdge/dashboard. • Contact me directly at dannyharris11@gmail.com • Check out more of what I've done at dannyharris.devSKILLSReact.js | JavaScript | Headless CMS | HTML5 | CSS3 | Git | C | Docker | Networking | Circuit Design | Organization | Patient | Communication
