Founding member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Sri Lanka in 2007, a past President and current Governor of the institute, first South Asian to be elected as President to the Asian Confederation of Institute of Internal Auditors (ACIIA) and still remain the youngest ever president to be elected to both IIA SL and ACIIA. Been an eminent conference speaker in the fields of risk management and internal audit since 2010, have the distinction of speaking in 23 countries covering all continents, with collective audiences of over 25,000 professionals. These include being the first Sri Lankan speaker at an IIA global conference, key Note Speaker at an IIA Latin American Conference in Panama and Guest Speaker at IIA Fiji, Philippines and Taiwan. Additionally been a presenter/speaker in countries - Australia, Austria, Malaysia, Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong, China, South Africa, Costa Rica, Indonesia, India, Thailand, United States, and United Emirates.
