Over the last 28 years, I have dedicated time and energy to serving within the public safety field. I started this journey as a volunteer firefighter in 1994 and then became a 9-1-1 Dispatcher in 1996. During this time, I filled many roles that include firefighter, EMT, Driver/Operator, Lieutenant, station Captain, 9-1-1 Dispatcher, Certified Training Officer and CAD Administrator. Over the years, I implemented CAD systems from several different vendors with the last one being from Plant Equipment which ultimately, turned my career in public safety around. In 2005, after a successful CAD implementation, Plant Equipment, the leading 911 vendor in the industry, offered me a position with their company. I left my full-time position as a 9-1-1 Dispatcher and began working directly with agencies to design and implement a CAD solution to meet their needs. During this time, I operated in the capacity of Implementation Engineer and Field Engineer which included roles in Implementation, Training and Project Management. Currently, I serve as the Emergency Call Handling Technical and Training Services Director and lead a large team of implementation professionals. I pride myself on my work ethic, customer service skills, and professional development. I have been directly involved in the successful implementation of several hundred projects which many were very large, complex systems. Plant Equipment has had a few owners and several names changes over the years. Today, I am proud to work for Motorola Solutions who is not only the worldwide communications leader, they are now the industry leader in Next Generation 9-1-1.Outside of Motorola Solutions, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Roxanne and our three children. Also, I am a certified Firefighter, EMT-Intermediate and currently serve as an Incident Safety Officer for the largest combination paid/volunteer fire department in the United States.
