In January, 2015 the AGC of St. Louis and the AGC of Missouri merged their association forming the new AGC of Missouri.As Vice President of Advocacy, I manage the advocacy efforts for the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Missouri. We follow legislative issues relating to the construction industry on the local, regional and state level in the State of Missouri. I work to develop a relationship between our association and its members and individuals elected to office. I work to educate and influence elected officials with regard to construction industry issues. As Vice President, I manage our team of lobbying consultants and work with our legislative committee to develop policy on issues of importance to the construction industry.My advocacy efforts also include management of the association's PAC funds including fundraising events and contributions to candidate committees.I also manage the public relations efforts of our organization working with our PR consultant. As part of this effort, I plan and execute various media events throughout the year as well as our annual awards program including selection of judges through execution of the awards gala.

I am responsible for the governmental affairs efforts for the Associated General Contractors of St. Louis. We follow legislative issues relating to the construction industry on the local, county and state levels in the St. Louis metropolitan area and the State of Missouri. I work to develop a relationship between our association and its members and individuals elected to office. I work to educate elected officials with regard to construction industry issues.I am also responsible for the public relations efforts of our organization and am the primary contact for our public relations consultant.
