With over 40 years of experience in the geothermal industry, I am the proprietor at Hatherton Company, where I provide expert consulting services on geothermal heating and cooling technology, industry, utility, and government affairs. I am also a SHARC Advisory Board Member at SHARC Energy Systems, a company that delivers innovative wastewater energy exchange solutions.Throughout my career, I have been a pioneer and a champion of the geoexchange industry, co-founding and leading several organizations beginning with WaterFurnace, associations, and companies that have shaped the market, standards, and policies of this sector. I have also been recognized with multiple awards and honors, such as the Ontario Clean Tech Entrepreneur of the Year and the Canadian GeoExchange Coalition’s Prize for Excellence. My mission is to promote and advance the adoption of clean, renewable, and energy-efficient solutions that benefit the environment, the economy, and the society.
