Hello LinkedIn family! I'm starting my dissertation on breeding of smooth coated otter in Captivity at sarthana nature park, Surat, Gujarat. The breeding patterns and breeding behaviour of Smooth-Coated Otters will study by me for around a year, which provide me the data that why and how Smooth-Coated Otters are breeding naturally in Captivity. So it's about my research work hope it'll become successful and aid in conservation purposes.

Chail Himachal Pradesh

I worked as Research Intern in ”The avifauna project of Himachal Pradesh” which is conducted under the 51a wildlife conservation and research foundation. This is the one month internship in which I conducted the bird biodiversity data of Chail wildlife sanctuary and the Renuka ji wildlife sanctuary(ramsar site). These project is done with the Himachal pradesh forest department, Shimla division .

The Pench tiger reserve or pench national park of madhyapradesh organised the phase-vi wildlife estimation which include survey and estimation of both flora and fauna including carnivores, herbivores and plants. This census contains various methods such as line transect, plotting method and GPS traker,trail for carnivores. In this method we used the Ecological app which specially made for wildlife censuses; we tracked the ecological data and field data like pugmarks, scats, kill site as well as natural habitats which contains various plants like weed, grasses and trees.

• I’ve been working as volunteer at Sarthana Nature Park(SMC- Surat Municipal Corporation)zoo after just passed my graduation in zoology on 08/06/2023. I’m learning the Behavior/welfare as well as got trained by zoo keepers that how and when to feed animals properly. Besides this my training is going on to learn emergency treatment for injured animals and transport it from one natural habitats to zoo or zoo to natural habitats. The handling and management is key point which I learned little bit and it improves fay by day. I mostly spent my time to observe and playing with lil cubs it’s soothing for my mind. The another important part of zoo is the incubate/hatching the eggs of reptiles or birds.

My self Dhaval Dhirubhai Donga.An Experienced Zoologist and Wildlife Biologist Instrumental in studying the origins, behavior, diseases, genetics, and life processes of animals and wildlife; specialize in wildlife research and management, including the collection and analysis of biological data to determine the environmental effects of the present and potential use of land and water areas. Skilled in taking care and distribution of zoo animals, working with zoo directors to determine the best way to contain animals, maintain their habitats, and manage facilities; knowledge of plants, animals, and interactions with the environment. I’m fond of animals since childhood; so I decided to go with science stream and graduated in bachelor degree of ZOOLOGY at VNSGU(veer nermad south Gujarat university)with 2nd rank along with various experiences in wildlife field work or even work with NGOs to care and protect domestic animals . I’m currently pursuing the master in zoology to gain more knowledge and experience regarding animal’s behavior, habitat, evolution as well as conflicts.

• Forest Department Of Gujarat(North Dang Forest Division, Ahwa) Conducted census in North dang forest where we took data of - leopard and another mammals footprint by gathering casting of plaster of Paris, scat/droppings, recorded scratch marks/territorial marks of leopard’s claws upon tree trunks etc. Besides leopard, rhesus macaque, bonnet macaque, four-horned antelope, sambar antelope, Barking deer, spotted Dear, Stilted hyena and civet were recorded in this census.
