I am working with Wipro infotech-Acute Infotech at Suzlon Blade Plant as a DL2 ENGINEER. User desktop management ( hardware, OS, Office suite, SAP client, basic connectivity, business applications, wireless LAN, user data backup assistance, imaging, assist in data recovery & restore, Patch and AV mgmt at location not under AD, assets tagging etc)Provide break fix support to Desktops, Laptops and all end user devices including audio visual equipment at sitesSupporting users by providing a timely and clear indication of the nature of the problem, the estimated time to completion, and possible interim alternatives;At the time of initial reporting of a problem by web or telephone call to the Help Desk, fully characterizing the problem so that all the information required, ensuring the problem can be corrected, is acquired.Diagnosing, verifying, recording and reporting Equipment and System non-performance or downtime.1s level (Basic support) for in house applications. The scope is mainly for application installation and troubleshooting on user’s machine. SUZLON will provide the training for the in house application.Updation of Assets Management systemRollout support activities related to end users as part of IT and Infrastructure projects, new product (hardware / software) evaluation and testingPartner management ( managing AMC Partners for UPS,AV equipment, network, hardware repairers etc )IT assets allocation and reclaim from users (provisioning and de-provisioning, maintaining updated user list with asset details, user awareness and trainings)The hardware part replacement, repairs etc. for items not covered under warranty/AMC will have to be carried out by the support personnelThe facilities upkeep at remote sites, including the server rooms, AC, UPS etc will be the responsibility of the support personnel.
