Provided strategic and operational technical leadership for the Insurance and Spatial Solutions software engineering and product development area. Led a technology organization of over 100 engineers and analysts across multiple locations working on a variety of technologies.

Led strategic development and operational management of the company's software engineering efforts.

Responsible for Product Management and all functions within software engineering for the FIS Payment Manager product suite. Managed a multi-million dollar development budget representing over 130 resources in the US and off-shore.

Metavante Techonologies merged with Fidelity Information Services to become FIS.

• Directed and led application development teams in implementing product enhancements to the Online Bill Payment product. Managed applications that range from online transactional web-sites supporting millions of transactions per day to internal support tools. Resource management responsibility for three application development teams including development, quality assurance and production support. Team had resources both in the U.S. as well as off-shore.• Worked with sales team to develop customized solutions for prospective clients. • Collaborated with product management to help drive product innovation.

• Led development team responsible for launching the electronic bill presentment feature of the product. Responsible for market leading innovation by developing and growing statement aggregation technology to enhance the bill presentment offering. Effort led to dramatic reduction in operations expenses and led to two patent applications.• Managed development of SmartBalance, a feature unique to Paytrust.com that aggregated bank account information for users to assist in determining up-to-the-minute bank balance without having to do any manual ledger reconciliation.

Responsibilities:• Technical Lead on business process modeling product, BPwin. Managed team of 4 developers working on the next generation of the product. Responsible for scheduling, design, and development of features, coordinating effort of Product Marketing, Quality Assurance, and Documentation to facilitate on-time release of the software. • Key contributor in upgrading BPwin‘s user interface to modern Windows GUI standards and in implementing competitive features. The ensuing release reversed downward trend in BPwin revenue and restored confidence in product and product team.LogicWorks was acquired by PLATINUM Technology in 1999. PLATINUM was acquired by Computer Associates in 1999.

Developed numerous desktop applications in Visual C++, MFC and SQL Server to facilitate data transfer between various medical systems. Coded for TCP/IP communication links as well as proprietary vendor protocols.
