Here are the key aspects of my experience:Microsoft Teams and Cisco Voice Architecture:As the primary architect for Microsoft Teams, I managed the entire Teams admin center. This involves configuring settings, implementing policies, and ensuring seamless upgrades.Collaborated closely with vendors to handle system upgrades and promptly troubleshoot any issues.Unified Communications Optimization:Worked closely with our internal teams and the Polycom management team to maximize the performance of our Polycom video infrastructure.Provided guidance to local IT and our Service Desk on correct phone system configuration, enhancing overall communication efficiency.Documentation and Quality Assurance:Authored comprehensive documentation on change procedures and phone system configuration. Manage and administer all day to day activities for Softlayer’s Unified Communications platform including voice and video. Administer and Troubleshoot Cisco UCCX. Write IPCC/IVR Scripts for UCCX. Configure and administer Cisco Unity. Configure Cisco 2800 and 2900 Integrated Service Routers. Administer Verint Witness Call Recording. Design, configure, manage and administer all projects in Singapore and Amsterdam for new voice SIP installations. Manage the acquisition of all new VOIP equipment. Manage the implementation of Cisco Unity Voicemail for BP Corporate headquarters. Present project scope and all deliverables. Ensure all deliverable met with all time and scope requirements. Managed project engineers to ensure that project remained on schedule and met the customer’s expectations. Provide leadership for two smaller projects in Houston and Los Angeles. Plan and scope project to replace older TDM system with new Cisco VOIP in LA. Manage engineers that perform the upgrade to VOIP. Manage the installation of 3 new UCM servers for BP in their Houston area datacenters. Provide expertise on which connectivity would be needed for new servers and gateways. Administer Cisco Unity voicemail and Cisco Call Manager for VOIP cutovers. .

Manage team of 40 technicians placing phones for Lockheed Martin Nortel DMS 1000 deployment. Present project scope and all deliverables. Lead weekly project meetings detailing project progression. Develop plans to place 20,000 devices at Lockheed Martin Sunnyvale campus. Ensure cabling team has correct information for new punch downs. Work with Nortel engineers to ensure proper phone templates are used.

Entered Cisco as a Lucent Engineer performing MACs on the Lucent/Avaya G3R. Worked into the position of Telecom Move Team Manager where I managed the Telecom portion of the weekly moves which averaged from 200 - 800 telephony devices. In 1999 Cisco introduced Call Manager on campus and I was tasked with managing the implementation of 20,000 devices across the 50+ building campus. Managed a team of 12 engineers deploying phones, performing changes in both the Lucent phone system and Cisco Call Manager. Quoted throughout the Cisco Press book "The Road To IP Telephony: How Cisco Systems Migrated From PBX to IP Telephony".
