As a Magistrate Judge at the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts, I uphold the rule of law and safeguard the people's constitutional rights. I have been appointed to this judicial office since January 2023, after 21+ years of experience in criminal justice and law enforcement. I have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Emergency Management and Homeland Security and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Criminal Justice.In my previous roles with the Whiteville Police Department, Lumberton Police Department, and as a Law Enforcement Instructor and Trainer at Robeson Community College, I gained extensive experience in community-oriented policing, traffic enforcement and investigation, criminal investigation, counter-narcotics, and emergency management. I also developed and delivered effective training programs for law enforcement personnel, enhancing their skills and knowledge. I am a Law Enforcement Leadership Academy graduate and an Advanced Law Enforcement Certificate holder. I am passionate about serving the public, promoting justice, and ensuring safety.
