Being a Post Graduate in Rural Development from Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), I have an experience of over 15 years in the development sector with different reputed organizations. In all places, I have worked as a senior program manager handling projects and organizational interventions. I have worked as the Program Officer in XISS, on developing model of community based health planning and monitoring of health service delivery. My major work responsibilities were to work closely with NHM, partner support, monitoring and impact assessment and to develop communication/resource materials. I also contributed to a training module as the secondary author on Community Leadership and Health intervention at field level and also have completed several assignments on behalf of donor agencies. I have worked as the Senior Programme Officer for Jharkhand in the PACS Program funded by DFID, UK. Since December 2017, I am working with Partnering Hope into Action (PHIA) Foundation where my core task is to lead a programme focused on ‘Deepening Democracy’ apart from exploring possible partnerships and generate resources to materialize those. My core strengths lie in grant management, partnership management, community engagement processes, coordination and implementation through partner organizations, documentation, understanding on social exclusion and discrimination and of course liaison with government line departments. Grant management, monitoring and evaluation form an integral part of my working. During this considerable span of over 14 years I have been able to acquire considerable diverse experience from grass root implementation, CSR initiatives, grant and partnership management, and collaborative engagement with the government systems. I have also undergone several capacity building training programs on contemporary issues like Promoting Sustainable Livelihoods, Good Governance, Disability, Project Management, HIV/ AIDS etc. that have capacitated me.
