The parent (Redpine) has been primarily a wireless systems company, the subsidiary CipherDot is an end to end solutions company.The primary focus is IoT/AI based platforms and solutions with the goal to provide a one stop, comprehensive platform, from Cloud Software to accompanying device hardware for any "Maker". In addition multiple horizontal solutions like RTLS (Realtime location systems) are also offered on the price-list.I was based out of company headquarters in San Jose (SF Bay area). I also spent quite a bit of time at the primary dev center in Hyderabad India for setting up and running the global teams.

Primary area of research was around Model driven architectures and development. Work included, finding ways to enhance the modeling techniques to make them mature enough to enable industrial use cases with product standards, performing case studies on implementations, work with a group to perform the research activities and publish useful results for the research community in the modeling world.
