I am working in Contracts & Procurement function of NTPC executing various Pre-award as well as Post-award contract management activities for Power Projects & Coal Mining Blocks. Activities include Bidding documents preparations, Bid Invitations, Bid Openings & their Evaluations, placement of LOA/Contract Agreements till Post award follow-ups with Contractors for supply of materials/services. I am also responsible for co-coordinating with inter-department as well as external stakeholders. I am conversant with statutory norms relevant for the job profile viz. CVC norms, Tax related statutory provisions, RTI acts etc. I have also been associated with ongoing Litigation activities pertaining to Coal Blocks in Hon'ble High Courts/ Supreme Court/ various Arbitration panels.

Worked in NTPC Simhadri Super Thermal Power Station (4 x 500 MW) as O&M Specialist. During my tenure, i had following roles:• Coordinated Overhauling of Units.• Responsible for O&M Budgeting & control, Material requirement Planning, Inventory Management, ensuring Spares and AMC Services availability for complete system, procurement of Steel, Bearings and Electrodes.• Reduced Plant Inventory by 10 % through following best inventory Management practices• Accorded Power Excel award by Simhadri Plant Management for contribution towards Budgeting and Inventory Management.

I have worked in Corporate Procurement function of NTPC executing various Pre-award as well as Post-award contract management activities for Coal Mining Blocks. Provided a key role in Mine development & Operation (MDO) appointment for various Coal blocks. I have also led the litigation activities association with Coal Blocks.

I am working in Corporate Contracts Department executing Pre-award & Post-award contract management activities such as tender documents creation, Pre Bid meetings, Bid Invitations, Bid Opening in SRM portal, Bid Evaluations, placement of LOA/Contract Agreements, Post award follow-ups with Vendors for supply of materials, co-coordinating with inter-Organisation's departments as well as external stakeholders, etc. Details of same are elaborated hereunder:I have carried out Pre-award and Post-award contract management activities of various Thermal Power Projects viz. NTPC Vindhyachal Stage-IV(2x500 MW), Rihand Stage-III (2x500 MW).Further i have also executed Pre-award contract management activities of Katwa STPP(2x660), Cheyyur UMPP (4000 MW) and Odisha UMPP (4000 MW) and MDO Packages for NTPC Coal Blocks.I have managed more than 40 domestic and international Contractors directly and more than 200 subcontractors indirectly.I have also been involved in Co-ordination with internal stakeholders such as Engineering, Finance, Project Planning, Operation Services and Project Execution Departments, and external stakeholders such as domestic & international contractors/sub-contractors, regulatory authorities, and ministry of power and Ministry of Surface Transport.I have represented my department in the cross functional project review team responsible for monthly review meeting at project execution sites; various Contract Review meetings at Project as well as Vendor's & sub-vendor's locations for expediting the activities involved in post award contract management.I have reduced 20% average contract award cycle time through adoption of e-procurement; Pre-award and Post-award Contract Management, Procurement. Apart from this, i have handled project worth maximum of Rs.40,000 Cr. during this period.I was also involved in representing NTPC against external legal Counsels (AGI & ASGI) at various occasions.
