On October 27, 2017, I presented a half-day tutorial session, "IEEE 730 Standard for Software Quality Assurance Processes" at the IEEE Panama Section's Standards Fest 2017 in Panama City, Panama. The IEEE carried out a significant updating and expansion of the International Standard 730 on Software Quality Assurance (SQA). I was a member of the IEEE Technical Working Group that developed it, and as part of my activities wrote an extended article that was published in the ASQ’s Software Quality Professional (SQP) in June 2014.
