Progressively built the marketing and external affairs function for a not-for-profit regional health plan and public agency serving nearly 350,000 Medi-Cal recipients in California’s underserved Central Valley. Reporting to five CEOs and achieving multiple promotions, my accountability grew to include external focused areas including Business Development, Marketing, Communications, Government Relations and Policy, Outreach and Enrollment, Grants Administration, Community Health Promotion, Cultural and Linguistic Services, and Customer Service/Call Center Operations.

Corporate Writer/Editor and Marketing Coordinator for Northern CA regional healthcare system. Corporate entity included 3 acute care hospitals, senior living community, fitness club, home health and other lines of business. Coordinated communication strategies and media, oversaw content and development of 19 recurring stakeholder publications of varying production schedules, and led annual events calendar and execution (fund development events, employee appreciation, holidays, community sponsorships, recognition, grand openings, etc.). *Note this role was prior to St. Joseph's Medical Center's affiliation with Dignity Health.
